OV Sweden
Located in the vibrant coastal city of Malmö, OV Sweden, previously known as Candeco, is our Nordic hub for caramel, fudge and sprinkle production. Established in 1992 and part of Orkla since 2005, the site became one of the founding members of the OV family in 2017 and today stands as the leading producer of sprinkles, pearls, caramel and fudge in the region.
With five advanced production lines, including traditional copper stills and modern caramel systems, the team blends craftsmanship with technology to create premium inclusions for bakery, confectionery and ice cream applications. Two dedicated packaging lines ensure flexible and efficient service for B2B and foodservice customers.
Innovation sits at the heart of Malmö, where the NPD team develops more than 300 new product lines each year through close collaboration with customers and proactive trend exploration. This mix of creativity, expertise and curiosity makes OV Sweden a true centre of confectionery innovation in Northern Europe.

OV Hans Kaspar
Located in Zufikon, just outside Zurich in Switzerland, OV Hans Kaspar is the Swiss centre of excellence for premium caramel, nut and chocolate-coated ingredients. Founded in 1925, the site has evolved from a local bakery supplier into a trusted partner for leading confectionery and ice cream producers across Europe and beyond.
OV Hans Kaspar’s expertise lies in creating high-quality nut-based products, including roasted nut brittles, caramels, flavour pastes, and chocolate-coated inclusions. Their ability to roast, caramelise, and coat ingredients with Swiss precision ensures distinctive flavour, texture and performance in every batch.
Guided by a commitment to quality and craftsmanship, the team combines decades of technical know-how with a spirit of innovation. From tailor-made recipes to large-scale production, Hans Kaspar delivers ingredients that bring both creativity and reliability to customers worldwide.

OV Harrogate
Located on the edge of the historic spa town of Harrogate in United Kingdom. OV Harrogate was previously known as Confection by Design. It is home to our specialist fudge, toffee and honeycomb production. With more than a century of confectionery expertise the site combines artisan craftsmanship with modern technology to create premium inclusions and toppings for bakery, ice cream and dessert applications.
The nut free facility produces a wide and versatile range including organic certified kosher and halal suitable options as well as products that are palm oil free fair trade and bake or freeze stable. Every recipe is developed to deliver outstanding taste functionality and consistency.
Innovation remains at the heart of Harrogate’s success. The site is behind several signature developments including Toffeecomb®, an aerated toffee with a rich buttery flavour and a delicate crunch. With its blend of heritage and creativity OV Harrogate continues to shape the future of confectionery craftsmanship.

OV Glasgow
Located in Scotland’s largest city, OV Glasgow is home to Cake Décor, the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of cake decorations. Each year, the site produces millions of sugar sprinkles, shapes and decorations for many of the country’s biggest retailers and bakery brands.
With extensive in-house production and packing capabilities, OV Glasgow supports both large and small retailers with high-quality, creative decoration products. From sprinkles and edible eyes to cake kits and frosting, the range includes everything needed to inspire professional and home bakers alike.
Innovation is a key focus at OV Glasgow. A dedicated NPD team works closely with retail partners to create bespoke products, develop seasonal lines and respond to emerging trends in home baking and celebration cakes. OV Leominster
